Tools for Non-Designers to Create Great Images

Bloggers and writers know that writing great content is a top priority, but sometimes we forget that including beautiful, captivating images can be just as important to both engage your audience and encourage sharing. But even if we do remember, in a lot of cases we don’t have the design chops to create great images from scratch, and hiring a designer can get expensive.

Luckily for us, though, the internet is full of great tools to help non-designers make amazing images, and best of all, most of them are free! Here some of the best image creation tools to help make your posts pop:

Canva

Canva is the go-to tool for non-designers who need professional-grade images. This tool is packed with ready-to-go templates, customization tools, tons of slick fonts, and drag-and-drop functionality. It also allows you to export the finished image, link it, or share it right from Canva itself. Best of all, it’s mostly free. Some of the images will cost you a (very reasonably) $1 licensing fee.

Its pre-made templates and drag-and-drop features make it really easy to use, and the results are an infograph lover’s dream.

Social Image Resizer Tool

If you blog, you probably use social media as a marketing tool (and if you don’t, you should). The problem is that each social media outlet has its preferred image format, and there are hundreds of different sizes and aspect ratios to chose from. Well, enter Social Image Resizer Tool! Simply upload your image, choose your social network, and the tool will re-size it accordingly.

Many brands rely on quotes for their social media posts, but simply writing text can be boring. Plus, it doesn’t encourage a lot of engagement. But you can take your quoting to a whole new level with Quozio; all you have to do is insert your quote, and Quozio transforms it into a beautiful image with a text overlay.
